SECTOR 8.

Kerrowmoar to Ramsey Hairpin

SECTOR 8.

Watch now

This sector transitions from open countryside to urban Ramsey. Posts here see rapid gear changes, breaking and complex cornering. Parliament Square and Cruickshank’s are especially technical. Crowd control and urban access require coordination with local services and TT race control.

Standout locations

Key locations and features within Sector 8.

Churchtown Memorial

This fast-flowing section begins just before the 22nd milestone. Marshals here cover a stretch rich with character, sweeping past Lezayre Church and into the infamous Conker Fields, where speed, scenery, and rider bravery converge.

K Tree

Marked by a painted “K” on the tree, this section through the Conker Fields is tight, technical, and full of personality. With quick changes of direction and bumps that test suspension and nerve, it’s a magnet for keen-eyed fans and marshals alike.

Parliament Square

The heart of Ramsey racing. Riders brake hard into a sharp right, blast across the square, and sweep into a fast left. With open spaces and multiple marshal posts, it’s a place where you feel at the very centre of the action.

Ramsey Hairpin

A slow, sharp turn that signals the start of the mountain climb. Bikes stack up here, providing great close-range viewing. There is even some limited spectator space inside the bend. The hairpin is also a LIVE timing point, keeping you connected to the whole course.
