SECTOR 7.

Ballacobb to Ginger Hall

SECTOR 7.

Watch now

One of the fastest and most varied sectors, including Ballaugh Bridge and Sulby Straight. Posts near jumps and breaking zones require sharp reactions and quick comms. Quarry Bends is a sweeping section with changing surface, and Ginger Hall can be busy with spectators and access vehicles.

16.8

Approaching the 17th milestone, Sector 7 starts just before Ballaugh Bridge.

200+

Sulby Straight is where bikes can exceed 200mph.

30ft

Some jumps at Ballaugh can see wheels off the ground for over 30 feet.

Standout locations

Key locations and features within Sector 7.

Ballacrye Jump

One of the TT’s few true airborne moments. Ballacrye sees riders lift off before hammering into the next bend. It’s a spectacle of speed, courage, and physics-defying flight. Ideal for photographers and thrill-seeking marshals.

Ballaugh Bridge

The iconic humpback bridge where bikes leap into the air before diving through the village. A TT institution, this spot offers intimate viewing, historic charm, and raw, unforgettable moments as riders bounce and blast past The Raven Pub.

Ginger Hall

A legendary pub corner with top-tier views. Watch riders burst from Sulby Bridge, carve through the bend, and disappear toward Ramsey. With the Ginger Hall Hotel right beside the course, it’s an unbeatable place to marshal and soak it all in.
