Announcing continued support for the Steam Packet Rebate Scheme at TT 2026
TTMA are delighted to announce that Steam Packet are continuing to support the improved rebate scheme for marshals at TT 2026, for those who travel with Steam Packet when volunteering as a marshal.
Under the new improved scheme, first introduced in 2025, marshals are able to claim their rebate for each event individually where they have attended 7 or more sessions at a race event. Under the scheme marshals are able to claim up to £100 against their travel ticket for an individual event, where they have completed enough sessions.
TT 2025 saw many hundreds of marshals accessing the scheme for support, and it is hoped that this will continue in 2026.
To qualify marshals should make sure that they check their sessions have been marked as “present” during and after the TT 2026 event, so that they will be able to qualify for the rebate and other offers.
Here's how it will work:
Under the rebate scheme, TTMA will email marshals who qualify for the rebate twice each year. At TT 2026 email by the end of June 2026, and for Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix by the end of September 2026.
All of the administration arrangements will remain the same as the previous scheme with marshals receiving full instructions over email and providing their booking references to submit their claim to the Steam Packet for processing and payment.
TTMA are very grateful to Steam Packet for continuing their support for the rebate scheme and their support is very much appreciated.
