What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding means:
• Protecting people from harm or abuse
• Promoting welfare and wellbeing
• Ensuring safe environments for all volunteers, including young adults and vulnerable individuals
• Acting promptly when concerns arise
Types of Concerns
Please report any concerns related to:
• Bullying or harassment
• Inappropriate behaviour
• Physical, emotional, or psychological harm
• Suspected abuse
• Unsafe working practices
• Concerns about colleagues, officials, or members of the public
• No concern is too small.
