Looking back a marshalling at TT 2024
We continue to have record number of marshals volunteering at the TT, this year is 8% higher than last year, with well over 1700 of you signing on across the event.
In daily terms we have also continued to have amazing support, on 6 days at TT 2024 we exceeded 1,000 marshals out on the track, compared to 4 days in 2023. This is a truly amazing number of volunteers and a testament to all your hard work and commitment to supporting event safety.
We introduced a modern vibrant new brand for TT marshals just before the event and improved our website and marshals portal in the lead up to the TT. We combined this with professional video and imagery filming from DOT Performance who did an excellent job of bringing marshalling to life for people interested in what we do and what is involved during TT24. The 7 videos published at event had a staggering 900,000 views and had very strong engagements on our social media channels. TT Marshals are very grateful for all the amazing work done by all the team at DOT Performance during the event.

We also had amazing support this year for marshals benefits, the TT+ Livepass was offered to all marshals who picked up their packs, and we are very grateful to the Motorsport Team for granting this very generous benefit. In addition, Manx National Heritage site passes were very gratefully received, as well as the very kind discount offers from suppliers and supporters across all industries, from clothing to Restaurants and Cafes, to AB Project and merchandise / bikewear, we are very fortunate to have such amazing support offered to recognise your contribution. We are also very grateful for the continued support of the Steam Packet and Bushy’s who kindly offer a drink for marshals at event every year.
We hope to make images of the marshals supper available shortly so that they can view and share in the success of the event, and see the awarding of long service recipients, two of whom had an outstanding 50 years of service being recognised.
