2019 IMC Courses

Check our full list of our 2019 IMC courses and book your place now

Tailor-made for the TT course, our Incident Management Course (IMC) is a day-long session which provides in-depth information about the use of flags, radios and other equipment. It also covers procedures for breakdowns and incidents, and it provides you with a set of skills to help ensure you and your marshalling colleagues, the riders and spectators remain as safe as possible.

IMC courses are held at various venues around England as well as on the island throughout the year (usually February to November).  We also hold a small number of courses during each practice week (in May and August), booking priority for these courses are given to off-island marshals.

Courses are open to all our registered marshals who have completed at least three sessions on the TT course.

Places must be booked via email and are offered on a strictly first-come-first-served basis.  To reserve your place, please email us stating the course venue and date you wish to book plus your full name, warrant card number and phone number: book by email now.

The courses run from 8.45am to 5pm (approx), they are free of charge, and we provide lunch and tea/coffee.  Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a coat as the training involves some role play, including kneeling and sitting on the floor inside the building, and a session outside.  Further details will be supplied in your booking confirmation email.
